Former Breakthrough New Orleans Executive Director, Aimée Eubanks Davis, was selected as a 2019 Obama Fellow. The Obama Foundation Fellowship supports civic leaders as they spur important changes in their communities. Ms. Davis was selected to further expand her work on empowering traditionally underrepresented graduates in their professional careers.

After her tenure at Breakthrough New Orleans, Ms. Davis founded Braven, an organization that helps underrepresented college graduates establish a job pipeline. Of being selected for the Fellowship, Ms. Davis said, “I am looking forward to joining this diverse network of Fellows from around the world who are organizers, inventors, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, and more – working hand-in-hand with their communities to build a better future.”

We’re so excited for Ms. Davis and can’t wait to see the amazing things she does!
