Jim Leonard, the long-time head of Breakthrough Santa Fe’s host school, Santa Fe Prep, recently announced that he will be retiring at the end of the next school year. With a long list of accomplishments ranging from increasing the endowment to important renovations, Mr. Leonard cites the founding of Breakthrough Santa Fe as his favorite initiative. He says, “I feel deeply connected to our efforts to increase the relevance of this school to broader community.”

92% of Breakthrough Santa Fe’s 250 graduates have gone on to college, and 86% were the first in their families to do so. We are so thankful to Mr. Leonard and the support he has provided Breakthrough Santa Fe over the years!
