The most challenging part of Teacher Training Week for me is making myself focus the whole day! It's easy to focus because the workshops are presented using the Say-See-Do method, so I stay engaged the whole time. It starts getting difficult after a couple hours when I start realizing how tired I am. Then I have to push myself to stay really engaged. By the end of the day I'm mentally and physically exhausted, but it's worth it because I'm always happy that we got so much done. After work, I try to wind down by making myself dinner. Cooking is my zen time; while I cook I reflect on my day and think about what I learned and what I want to work on the next day. Teacher Training Week is exhausting, but I'm really enjoying it and I know it will be worth it when we start teaching next week.
